Ratantra Rasjid Agitama Luis, First Geography Student to Pass MBKM

The Faculty of Geography, Muhammadiyah University, Surakarta, has graduated students from the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar–Kampus Merdeka) pathway. The first student to graduate through the MBKM route was named Ratantra Rasjid Agitama Luis (NIM. E100170318). He successfully defended the MBKM final report entitled “A Study of Plantation Sector Land Use Balance in Sukoharjo Regency” in front of his supervisor and examiner during the MBKM Thesis Examination in the Zoom Meeting Room, Saturday (29/01) afternoon.

As an MBKM student, Ratantra received two supervisors. One supervisor from the ATR/BPN agency, namely Dian Apriliyana, ST, MT (Coordinator for Land Planning Division) and one supervisor from the internal Faculty of Geography, Agus Anggoro Sigit, M.Sc. Meanwhile, the first examiner was Jumadi, Ph.D and the second examiner was Aditya Saputra, Ph.D.

On that occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography who is also the examiner I, Jumadi, Ph.D, expressed his appreciation to Ratantra who had participated in MBKM activities and could be converted to a Thesis course.

The MBKM activity carried out by Ratantra at ATR/BPN can be converted to a thesis course because it has met the requirements set by the faculty. The conditions are:

1. Students meet the requirements to take thesis courses

2. MBKM activities are relevant to Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) at the Faculty of Geography

3. The duration of the activity is at least 6 months

4. Obtain conversion approval from the head of study program, supervisor, and reviewers through review

5. Have outputs in the form of activity reports and selected outputs in the form of scientific publication articles in journals, publication articles in proceedings, or Intellectual Property Rights certificates
