Two Lecturers from the Faculty of Geography at UMS Engage in International Collaboration with Kobe University, Japan

Starting Tuesday through Saturday (September 3-7), two lecturers from the Faculty of Geography at UMS, Dr. Aditya Saputra and Danardono, M.Sc., are participating in an international collaboration with Kobe University, Japan. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration across various aspects of education.

The main focus of this agenda is to collaborate in research areas including microplastics, geosciences, and international education. Given the global significance of microplastic pollution and its environmental impact, this collaboration aims to make a meaningful contribution toward addressing the issue. Additionally, the partnership in geosciences is a key aspect of the agenda, with the goal of expanding insights and applying geoscience knowledge on a global scale.

This initial phase is particularly important for the Faculty of Geography at UMS, as it strengthens their international relationships and provides numerous opportunities for both faculty members and students to engage in international research and education.
