The Annual Scientific Meeting (PIT) of the Indonesian Geographical Association (IGI) is an important event for geographers throughout Indonesia. This activity is a meeting place for researchers in the field of geography to present their research results in scientific forums. PIT IGI is one of the scientific meetings that is held every year and always changes locations. In 2016 this activity was carried out at the State University of Malang. The theme of PIT IGI in 2016 is “STRENGTHENING SYNERGY FOR OUR FUTURE WORLD”. As for the team from the Faculty of Geography UMS who left to take part in the activity as many as 3 teams, namely Drs Priyono, M. Si., Drs. Yuli Priyana, M. Si., and Dra. Alif Noor Anna, M. Si.
