The vision of the Geography Study Program was arranged in line with the vision of UMS, namely “to become a mecca for the development of Islamic science and technology and provide direction for change”. The meaning of Qibla is that the existence and products produced by UMS are recognized, needed and used as a reference and the main alternative by the community, both at the local, national, regional and international levels. The direction of community change, especially the people of Central Java, is towards a civilized, independent and prosperous society in a sustainable manner. Based on the vision of UMS, the vision of the Geography Study Program was prepared through a lecturer meeting mechanism involving stakeholders and alumni users. Efforts to realize the vision are carried out through the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which is described in the formulation of the study program mission. The goals and objectives of the UMS Geography Study Program are reflected in the outcomes of the study program (graduates, research results and community services) which are known, understood and become the common property of all components of the study program management, and are realized through strategies and scheduled activities that serve as a reference for all activities of the implementation of the study program.
