A remarkable achievement has been attained by Forum Geografi, the publication of the Faculty of Geography at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). This academic journal has successfully entered the SCOPUS index on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. With this accomplishment, Forum Geografi UMS paves the way towards global recognition and opportunities for collaboration with geography experts worldwide.
In his statement, the Editor in Chief and Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Jumadi, Ph.D., expressed, “We are immensely proud and grateful for this achievement. We extend our gratitude for the support and well wishes received. This marks the initial step towards disseminating knowledge and making deeper contributions to the field of geography.”
Forum Geografi becomes the first journal from Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta to successfully make its way into SCOPUS. This historic milestone is anticipated to ignite the spirit of researchers, inspiring them to produce quality research that can compete at the international level.
