BEM Faculty of Geography UMS 2018 held a National Seminar with the theme “Management of Water Resources and Environment Based on Local Wisdom in the Millennial Era.” The speaker in this seminar was Prof. Dr. Suratman Woro Suprodjo, M.Sc. (Professor of Gadjah Mada University) and Ir. Christopher Emille Jayanata (Local Founder for the Local (Movement/Campaign Result of Ideas from Organic Community Organizations and WWF Indonesia) – Founder and General Chairperson of KOI (Indonesian Organic Community). Meanwhile, the Key Note Speakers in this activity were Ir. Wiratno, M.Sc. (Director General of Natural Resources and Ecosystem Conservation, Ministry of Environment and Forestry). This national seminar was held on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 07.00 – 12.00 WIB at the Moh. Djazman Auditorium UMS. The Student Executive of the Faculty of Geography of UMS was running successfully.
