On July 25 2018, Geography Study Program AMIKOM, Yogyakarta conducted a comparative study at the Faculty of Geography UMS. This activity was carried out in order to establish friendship and cooperation with the Faculty of Geography UMS. The gathering activity was immediately accepted by the faculty leadership and several lecturers. The things that were discussed in this meeting were related to research collaboration, community service, laboratory development, and joint conference activities. Hopefully, this activity can increase the competitiveness of the Geography Faculty of UMS and AMIKOM’s Geography Study Program in the national and international arena.
