Strengthening Islamic Values among Muhammadiyah Community in UMS Geography Faculty’s Get-Together Event

The Geography Faculty of Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta (UMS) hosted an event focusing on Strengthening Islamic Values among Muhammadiyah Community (PHIWM) on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 4:30 PM local time. The event was attended by faculty members and administrative staff of UMS Geography Faculty.

During this solemn event, Prof. Dr. dr. EM Sutrisna, M.Kes, Vice Rector IV for Human Resources, AIK, and Information Systems at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta, served as the main speaker. He delivered a profound understanding of Islamic values that serve as guidelines for Muhammadiyah members’ way of life. In his presentation, Prof. EM Sutrisna emphasized the importance of reinforcing Islamic values in daily life, especially among academics and educational staff.

Moreover, the event concluded with an iftar (breaking of fast) session, where all participants gathered to share meals and enjoy the camaraderie-filled atmosphere.
