During the Covid-19 Pandemic, Geography UMS Holds Online Lectures for Teachers in Indonesia

Geography UMS is there an Online Lecture for Geography Teachers in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic, Thursday-Wednesday (16-22/04). Conducted online through the zoom/schoology/whatssapp application, the online lecture with the theme “Geographic Studies with the Basis of Spatial Technology and Publications” was attended by 100 Geography teachers from various regions in Indonesia. The first day of the online lecture was held on Thursday (16/04) with the facilitator Aditya Saputra, Ph.D. with a discussion about Drone Applications for Geography Learning. The next day, Friday (17/04), the online lecture continued with material in the form of Online Geography Teaching and Learning guided by Jumadi, Ph.D. On Saturday (18/04), the Online Lecture was filled by Agus Anggoro Sigit, S.Si., M.Sc with a discussion in the form of PJ Applications for Geography Learning. Furthermore, Monday (20/04), the online lecture was conducted with the facilitator Dr. Choirul Amin, S.Si., M.M with material on Tricks for Compiling Scientific Writing. On Tuesday (21/04) the material on Indonesian Geomorphological Studies was discussed with Dr. Kuswaji Dwi Priyono, M.Sc. Finally, in closing, the material presented by Drs Priyono, M.Si about Writing in a Newspaper is Easy? As with lectures in general, at the end of the lesson the facilitator gives a task that must be done by each participant. The response from the participants was quite enthusiastic. It was proven that many of the participants did the task. The tasks that are collected are not just tasks to fulfill obligations. The output of the given assignment will be recorded in a collection book with ISBN.
