Saturday-Sunday (16-17/10), the Faculty of Geography held a Working Meeting (Raker) in Sakura Hills, Gondosuli, Karanganyar, Central Java. The activity discussed the Strategic Plan (Renstra), RPUPPS, and RPPS.
There are 16 strategic plans for the Faculty of Geography, namely:
- Increasing the reputation of UPPS at the National and International levels
- Increasing the quality of learning with national and international standards.
- Increasing student achievement at national and international levels.
- Increased employability of graduates at national and international levels.
- The realization of Islamic education and progress
- Increasing the performance of research innovations of international reputation.
- Increasing the quantity and quality of articles and publications (journals, proceedings, books) with national and international reputation.
- Increased reputation for community service (PkM) at national and international levels.
- Increased academic contribution to the development and empowerment of the association.
- Increased productivity of national and international cooperation that supports the implementation of chess dharma.
- Increased sources of funding from outside the Student Tuition Fee
- The realization of a funding structure, financial management that is solid, transparent, and accountable.
- Fulfillment of supporting facilities and infrastructure of national and international standards
- Improve PRIMA, Accountable, and Modern laboratory management
- The development of human resources (lecturers and education staff) with international standards.
- Increase alumni collaboration network
In this activity, it was agreed that the faculty unit strengthening program had 12 activities, the unit development program had 5 activities, and the institutional development program had 1 activity. As for the RPPS, the unit strengthening program has 8 activities, the unit development program has 5 activities, and the institutional development program has 2 activities. Later on, the proposed activities will be carried out by negotiating costing with the UMS Planning and Development Bureau which is planned to be carried out at the end of October 2021. (*)
