Friday-Saturday (25-26/10), the Geography Faculty team held a West Java Province MGMP roadshow. Located at the Grand Mutiara Pangandaran Hotel, West Java, the roadshow carries the theme “Remote Sensing Applications & Geographic Information Systems and Drones for Learning and Photographing Geographical Objects and Learning with E-learning, fieldwork, and Writing Tricks in Newspapers.” This annual event of the Faculty of Geography was held in order to introduce the Geography Study Program, Faculty of Geography, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta to the general public. In addition, the activity which was attended by Geography Subject High School teachers throughout West Java was also intended to share knowledge about geography. The main discussion is about the application of PJ-SIG and Drones for learning. Participants seemed so enthusiastic to enjoy every material presented by the senior lecturer at the Faculty of Geography. The event closed with fieldwork which was held in the Pangandaran area, West Java.
