Friday (25/03), the Faculty of Geography held a socialization activity for the MyMBKM and MBKM guidelines. Through the zoom meeting room, the socialization was attended by students of the Faculty of Geography class 2019/2020.
“We are focusing on this MBKM activity for the 2019/2020 batch because we see this batch as suitable. For the higher class, they may have taken a lot of courses,” said the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit of the Faculty of Geography, Danardono, M.Sc.
On this occasion, Danardono encouraged students to actively participate in MBKM activities. The reason is, this MBKM activity is a good opportunity for students to hone soft skills and hard skills. “With this MBKM activity, it is hoped that the soft skills and hard skills of students will be honed so that they can directly enter the community,” continued Danardono.
Although students are free to choose the form of MBKM activities they want, the Dean of the Faculty of Geography, Jumadi, Ph.D, reminded students to keep paying attention to the CPL (Graduate Learning Outcomes) in the Geography study program. “These activities can be converted into courses that are in accordance with the curriculum (according to CPL). Activities must be in accordance with CPL,” explained Jumadi.
For students who are interested in participating in MBKM, they can register through the MyMBKM. To be able to access MyMBKM, students must first activate UMS email.
